The Story of Volunteero
It all started in April 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic. Volunteero co-founder Ashley Staines was volunteering for his local Age UK and thought, there surely has to be a better way to manage volunteers. After brainstorming ideas with co-founders Luca Weibel and Kedar Kasarekar, they agreed that it would be a fun side project to create a basic management platform for charities and an app for volunteers. After many late nights and weekends working around their current jobs, Volunteero was born.
